Reflections:
Jesus says elsewhere that the world needs us now. It is in a bad way, as all of us know who listen to the daily news. It is a “hopeless and closed learning situation,” and Jesus is looking to us to change the situation to something better.
As we teach, we learn. As we have been saying, there is no other way. When we teach that joy and hope are our rightful inheritance, we too learn this. We are traveling farther on the pathway to Awakening.
We are Jesus’s teachers (once we have completed the workbook of the Course). May we let our own neuroses drop away, with the help of the Holy Spirit, and may we do our part to save the world and all people in it from unhappiness and hopelessness.
Prayer:
Dear Father/Mother,
May I know that as I teach joy and hope to a desperate world, I will find that my learning has become complete. Thank you for this reassurance.
May I turn to the world and seek to help the people in it in their distress. Jesus needs me, and to believe so is not arrogance, but the truth.
