“The Holy Spirit is God’s Answer to the separation; the means by which the Atonement heals until the whole mind returns to creating. (T-5.II.2)”
This is what these quotations in this Atonement series have been leading up: the primacy of the Holy Spirit. We follow His guidance, and thus we know what to do every minute and every second. Life assumes a flow, an easy flow—and life becomes easy. Which of us would not like that?
How do we hear the Holy Spirit? He speaks in a myriad of ways, but a personal “feeling” is the way that He speaks most often. We have earlier called this intuition, and we would be right to think of it in this secular fashion if it makes us more comfortable. The Holy Spirit nudges; He does not command. We are led to think, “Wouldn’t this make me happier?” The Holy Spirit often speaks through our sense of happiness, for is not happiness something that Jesus has said is our function?
The whole mind will return to creating when we have embodied the Self. This is the mind that we enjoy when we have Awakened. This is the mind that we all want, and, indeed, that we deserve to have.
A close following of the guidance of the Holy Spirit will bring that Awakening (chosen by God) sooner rather than later.
