The Unknown Reveals Itself

“Every choice is thus a means of channeling. It is taking the infinite number of experiences or information available and channeling only what one desires to know. Thus, it is prudent to repeat once again, that you are the expression of the unknown and the only means of the unknown becoming known. You, in other words, are the channel, the conduit, of the unknown becoming known. What you choose to know and how you choose to know it is an act of channeling.” (ACOL, D:Day22.4)

This is a difficult passage to fully understand, but basically we need to understand that our knowledge comes from the choices we make from what is channeled to us. We make these choices by our every thought, our every word, our every action. We choose, from the infinite number of bits of information that could come to us, what we want to know and then act upon. This is our power. This is our right as children of God.

When we are resistant to something that wants to come through to us, through channeling, we may miss the goodies. And this would never do. So we need to keep an open mind, praying often to remain open in our demeanor.

Our knowledge is a step beyond perception. Perception was often of the ego, and therefore tainted. But knowledge, as something from God, is right and true. And we do well to heed it.

We can invite channeling to ourselves. We can ask to know something of which we have previously been unaware. And this is powerful prayer. This is communing with God. This may well take us home sooner.

We need to ask for discernment in the wake of many messages being channeled to us. We need to ask how to know which ones to listen to, which ones to incorporate in our lives. When we ask, we will be told. We need only trust that this is so.

Dear God,

I ask to be open to all that channeling will provide to me. Don’t let my insecurities hold me back. Give me a calm and rational mind and heart, to hear Your promptings.

I am enamored of channeling. The concept offers much promise. I would attempt to bring my gifts to it also. Give me the gift of discernment as I interact with all in my circle.

Amen.
