“You will learn what it means to trust what is birthed in the heart. And you will arise and you will go forth without fear. . . . And the whole while you will know that of yourself you do nothing, but the Father, through you, can do anything.” (“The Way of the Heart,” WOM, Lesson 7, Page 87 – 88)
Our Father, God Himself, is living through us, for we are inseparably linked; we are a part of Him. And it is He Who does the works. When we try to accomplish things, we often fail. God does not fail. If we ask with truth in our minds and hearts, being willing to hear what the Holy Spirit tells us, our propensity to make mistakes will diminish. We will be on the beam, for we are finally listening to guidance. The Holy Spirit does not make mistakes, and so why on earth would we fail to follow advice like His.
Our heart will tell us what the guidance is. The heart, as the center of each of us, feels rather than thinks. We know that our minds can lead us wrong, but the heart, when listening rightly to the Holy Spirit, never leads us wrong. Even things when seem wrong at the time will eventually be recognized as right all along.
Creativity surges through us when we are aligned with God. And God can do just anything.
We best live our lives when we acknowledge our dependence on God, our complete dependence on His guidance as present in and through our Comforter, the Holy Spirit.
Listen today. Notice that our mistakes fall away.
