I see this quotation, attributed to Jesus in Choose Only Love, as an affirmation that love wins out in the end. When we are asked to wait through hard times, we gain patience, an essential virtue. When we wait patiently as the years unfold, we truly do get ready for an explosive affirmation of Love from God Himself.
This is “what is” in our world. What has not been true in love just crumbles away, and then we are left with the kernel of God’s love for us. The period of rejection is over, and now it is time for the blessings to descend upon our heads.
This is the law of attraction in effect. We could not appreciate the love well unless we had lived through its opposite, the rejection of our proffered love.
Now we are primed for a new, good beginning. We have waited, we are ready, we have grown by the ending of something that wasn’t meant to be at all.
Now we are overcome with Love, and God, this time, makes sure that we get the message. Love is the Answer, the one true Answer to what is.
