“To the extent that you allow your consciousness to live fully in the truth of who you are, the love that you truly are, to that extent you fulfill your purpose.” Choose Only Love bk.3, 4:I
Who we truly are is just – love. And when we live love, we are on purpose.
We often don’t realize how much a simple decision to love more deeply will effect change in our daily life. And this change is all good.
This is not a sentimental love, a love that overlooks bad things in an effort to make ourselves feel better. We may still express negative emotions, when we feel them warranted, but we will find them unwarranted far more often than we realize now. Love is a sold feeling, something substantial to cling to in uncertain times. It is never a tame thing, but the hardiest sense of coming into our own. We do nobody any favors when we let other people walk all over us. This is a false way of viewing love that has turned people off all too often.
Love can be and is strong in the face of provocation. Love is gentle in the extreme, but the gentlest feeling is the most powerful. It is not a two-edged sword that can be turned against us.
Ask to be shown what love really means, because we have not known. We have not known what it means to say that God is Love. We have been in the dark about this, as about many things connected with love. Love is many-faceted, solid, substantial, a Force to Whom we can cling.
Let God speak to our hearts today about this matter of His Love and what it means to us. Give God some time to get through by spending some time in quietness.
God speaks in the silence with sudden insights that warm the heart.
