“Grieve your dark days only to awaken from them with greater depths of compassion, with greater awareness of love’s many expressions, and let them rise from you, and with you, into time free of the concreteness of the past.” Mirari
We all need to let the past go as we walk through life’s onward passages. But all too often we don’t do this; we cling to what has been the past, often clinging even to what pained us the most.
Yet when we walk farther along, living in love, we find that we can relinquish the past. Our love has healed us. And we are happy.
Let the past go. We will hold in our subconscious the teachings of the past that have healed. But let the healing of the present proceed unencumbered by our past pain.
