“I have shared with you many times that to awaken as Christ requires that you begin your journey as Christ. It is not possible to transform yourself in order to become Christ, but it is possible to simply accept the idea of the Truth. And then let that be the foundation from which your life expresses itself—so that you begin to think with Christ, so that you begin to breathe with Christ, so that you begin to envision with Christ.” (“The Way of Transformation,” The Way of Mastery, Chapter 20, Page 240)
We are Christ. Jesus shares His Christhood with us. We don’t imagine that we need to transform ourselves into something we are not, for we cannot remake ourselves if we are not that already.
We just have not known the great divinity that is ours. Jesus will let us know if we let him, but he cannot do anything with unwilling followers. Let him speak to us today.
Let him tell us what we already are. And after we have done this, nothing will ever look the same again.
If we allow Jesus’ spirit of Christ to overwhelm us, we will know a joy that has eluded us before. Our contribution is only a tiny willingness, as A Course in Miracles tells us. A little willingness. The Holy Spirit’s contribution to our salvation is ever so much greater.
Let the Holy Spirit/Christ-Self help today.
