“Knowings that sometimes are fleeting—coming in a moment without thought—and that at other times are of a long-range nature, a knowing of the way that is unfolding in time.
“Every ‘knowing’ is God-given, so there is no need to distinguish from ‘where’ knowings come, but the ways in which they come are many and varied as they encompass the whole of life.” Mirari
“Knowings” are a way that God reaches us. Previously, we may have relied on feelings to sense God’s guidance. But if we have been faithful, His presence is more certain in us now, and we don’t need the filter of feelings to know what He is saying to us. We just know.
Both A Course of Love and Choose Only Love allude to this matter of knowing, and Mirari is right in line with this new thought. Of course, we must be careful to ascertain if our knowing is accurate. An important test is the question of harm. If what we think we ought to do might harm another person, then we are thinking and perhaps feeling, too, awry. What God gives us as a knowing is always totally benign.
Seek to move into knowing today. We can know even when our feelings are overwrought and we therefore cannot seem to find God near.
Knowing is direct. And it is a new revelation.
This is wisdom everyone should be open to. It makes life easier once you accept this Truth. I had a teacher once who referred to this as being an, “easy disciple.
