Unlimited Life

“You then, are Christ, playing in the world—unlimited, unfettered, unvictimized by anything.”  (“The Way of Transformation, The Way of Mastery, Chapter 13, Page 165)

When Jesus welcomes into the embrace of the “Christ,” I am comforted that all of us are going to be on the right pathway. It will just take time for all to come into the fold. When we decide to get right with God, we are taking the first step toward a new life–a life that is “unlimited, unfettered, unvictimized.”

All of us welcome this change. Some have experienced it already. But for those who still feel caught by the struggles of the world, with quotations such as this we can take heart. There is a way out of the maze. We can live lives of great value, enjoying what we do, attracting that which gives us peace.

Reading has been a prime avenue for me in order to try to get right with God. A Course in Miracles taught me much–but so did the other newly channeled works by Jesus. Jesus is active in our world, of course. We just can’t see him. He is just as active on our behalf now as he was 2,000 years ago.

Resolve to live an unlimited life today. Resolve to take our places in the new world that is unfolding. We still can’t see it, but it is there. We have been caught up in a drama, and we are still. But beyond the drama of conflict and struggle is a new world, created by us with help from the Unseen.

Be sure to offer thanks for each bit of encouragement the Other Side gives us.

To Live without Limits

“Here is the nub:  No one can make the decision for you.  I have never enlightened anyone.  I have never even so much as lifted them an inch.  I have merely chosen to demonstrate unlimitedness for myself. . . .” (“The Way of Transformation,” WOM, Chapter 13, Page 163)

Jesus can’t do it for us; he says so, here.  We can’t get a transformative experience for Awakening or enlightenment by looking to somebody else, even one such as Jesus.  What do we have to do?  What we can do is remove the blocks to our awareness of love, and these blocks are fear and judgment.  Love is the Answer, always and forever, but these things, fear and judgment, that stand prevent us from loving well have to go.

Jesus demonstrates unlimitedness as a divine being.  We can ask for unlimitedness in ourselves, ask it of God, and we may very well get an affirmative response from Him.  We may very well find ourselves thinking, saying, and doing things that have eluded us until now.  We reach skyward in our unlimitedness.  And we find that we are not alone in this desire for ourselves.  God wants us to live in an expanded way, too.

We are unlimited, though we think that our finite minds hold us back.  It is true that with our finite minds, we don’t know everything.  We don’t know all the glories of the Kingdom and the universe(s).  But we can still enjoy magnitude.  Our Self is a glorious rendition of God’s way with us.  He is holding nothing back.  We are the ones who restrain ourselves.  And we have it in our power to change that restraint. 

Just ask, and see if we aren’t able to see an expanded role in our service to the world.

The Unlimited One – Us

“Whether it is a beautiful building or a beautiful painting, all that you are ever experiencing is something that you have drawn to yourself through the medium of the body.  It is an experience, and that is all.  You are the unlimited one who is in the driver’s seat.”  (“The Way of Transformation,” WOM, Chapter 13, Page 162)

How many of us can actually feel in the driver’s seat, especially now?  Jesus’ words sound foreign to us, but I believe he means what he says.  But it is our soul that is making these decisions of what to experience. 

The little self, persona, that we are frequently resists what arrives for us to experience.  We can be glad that a “smarter” part of ourselves is actually in the driver’s seat.  This is the Self, Self with a capital “S.”  And we are all One in the Self, a part of God Himself.

It helps to see ourselves, in our greater essence, as “unlimited.”  If we chafe at restrictions now, we can realize that our soul has chosen this pathway—not only our soul, but the Self whom we share with all other brothers and sisters.  We are in this together.

Living a Passionate Life

“I learned to value unlimitedness. I learned to value Love. I learned to value fearlessness. Yes, my method for doing that was rather unique, and I would not recommend that you follow in my footsteps. Unless, of course, you like the drama of being nailed to a cross and then stood up in front of all of your friends in order to learn to transcend fear in your mind!” (“The Way of the Heart,” WOM, Lesson 9, Page 117)

Jesus is the channeler of The Way of Mastery, and here he rather lightheartedly refers to his crucifixion. We need to value unlimitedness, Love, fearlessness. And we can do so, not by following in his footsteps, but by listening to his words.

Our own pathway will be unique to ourselves. And the first step that we need to take is the prayer that will bring us unlimitedness, Love, fearlessness. If our heart is sincere, we will walk into what we are asking for, maybe not immediately, but over time.

We want to live broad lives, and that is what unlimited living really means. We want to live with passion, not in dramatic highs and lows, but in the essence of who we are as people. To live a dull life appeals to nobody. Love and fearlessness will give us that passionate life. We will survive in what is seemingly a new world, for we project what we would experience. As A Course in Miracles makes clear, “projection makes perception.” Think about what we want to create in this day, and then watch the movie screen of our mind bring it to pass.

Jesus is our model, but we don’t have to be crucified to follow his way. He is showing us an easy pathway to Awakening, and it behooves us to listen carefully.

Live with passion, healthy passion, hurting nobody. And all good things will come to us.
